i know i gotta get my rear in gear,im hoping for fathersday but probably wont happen but i will try my best.my dads finally home from hospital so i can get going on it again.now comes the fun part of sanding it to bare metal,,im gonna sand my engine bay then paint that first so i can drop my motor in,found a goodsuper t-10 for 325$ i cant beat that., also found a rebuilt muncie m-20 but they want 1000$ for that one, wich i think is a little high and i think the st-10 is just as good.once i paint my engine bay im gonna install my engine and get it running and i can work on it while i drive it,maybe it wont get painted by fathersday but atleast i will have it all in epoxy primer.flat black like a rat rod.LOL

been looking in to getting a new richmond super t-10 but cant find the horsepower or torque rating on it,is it amy stronger than the borg warner t-10 or are they the same can get one for about 1300 wich isnt to bad if it can hold up for a long time and its all new.or do you guys think i would just be better off with the borg warner if its the same no sense in spending the extra money.

No not really. There around 350-400 ft lbs. I got a number of a guy over here that builds and modifies T-10's with a steel mid plate. An important upgrade. I haven't called yet, but soon I will.

havent picked it up yet its 320$ probably not gonna find a better deal than that.its in detroit about 150 miles away but that isnt the problem was just wondering if the richmond was stronger.for now im just gonna put in the 320$ st-10 and save for the TKO 600 i can get one brand new for 1700.

The Richmond is probably in better shape because its newer. Other than that they are the same I think. I don't know what the NASCAR guys do to these trannies but I would love to find out.

I think were on the same page. Pray it lasts until the 5 or 6 speed goes in then sell the whole deal.

Considering what they get for ST10's you can run it without abusing it, and then sell it for a profit later. I sure wouldn't wait long at that price or it will go bye bye quickly! But at that price I'd sure pull the side cover and check the gears and synchros!
