Default bumper cover

well finally got the chance to work on my car a little today, sanded down the front fender was happy to know no filler was used atleast on the passenger side, just have a couple ripples along the top i will need to se some filler on it,the bumper cover was a big job spent most of the day sanding out all the spider cracks in the paint, looks like laquer paint, but they failed to use a flex additive they were everywhere, cleaned it up really good with wax and gease remover before and after but was to cold to apply the poly flex filler on a few places that needed it,so thats my project for tomarrow, gonna be a little warmer they say, then i can sand it all flat with 180 grit and i can finally prime it.then i can begin block sanding my cover then spot putty where needed.then a last coat of primer regular fill.

At least someone is working on their car. I have to drop the Jeep block off at the machine shop in a minute. This this is eating up time and money faster than I can make it.

The ripples on top of the fender are from guys pushing down to check the shocks. I learned that when I did my 78. I had just blocked it out and did the shock test. The guy helping me pointed out the two hand prints I had left in the top of the fender and it ws back to body filler.

i got a little more done today not as much as i had hoped for, didnt get as warm as they said it would, took awhile for my filler to harden in these cooler temps, and surely not warm enough to lay my primer so maybe tuesday it will be in primer got half of the bumper cover all ready for paint, the other half will need to wait until tomarrow.but surely is looking better than when i started it,should turn out pretty nice.thank god to poly flex plastic filler
