Default super T10

Sorry to put this here I have not read the whole thread...Is this the around 600hp 600TQ+ engined vehicle? And its going to be backed by a super T10 4 speed? Just wondering if so, don't do it. Unless, aftermarket case and very strong and lite internals are employed. I believe the super T10 is rated for the 375 tQ range at maximum with the 2.43 first gearset.

What the Super T10 handles depends on how that power get to the ground. Put some wide sticky slicks on and you'll blow it pretty quickly with a high rpm launch. With most street tires you'll find it holds up well, and your tires will spin and prevent any damage.
I know people running them behind well built big blocks with plenty of torque, and have 15-20k miles with no problems. Just don't go crazy with wrinkle walls, and low pressure to get it to stick to the track.

yeah im just gonna run a street tire on it,295/60 15 cooper cobra gts, used them on my irocz with factory built 700r4,they hook up ok but spin alot wich will save the wear and tear on tranny, that 700 r4 also had 134,000 miles on it until i put the 400 turbo in it with no problems, this car is mostly gonna be street driven with a couple trips a year to the dragstrip.and the st10 is all rebuilt with zero miles on it he says.i have also been considering maybe the richmond t-10 is that one better u can get them brand new for about 1300.doesnt the t-10 require a 400 32 spline yoke.

cant believe all the extra parts thats coming with this camaro about 3 pick up loads, probably enough chit to do 2 camaros,so if theres anything u need let me know.they guy took off the two doors to pull out the seats and replace the upholestry, also took off the hood to work on engine bay, thats as far as he got, bought it for him and his son to do together and son decided he didnt wanna restore a car, teenagers anyway.i couldnt even have baught all the pieces to do my front clip for what i paid for this carthen i still had complete floors to do and both quarter panels in that 80,it was rusted pretty bad this one just needs some tlc,the 80 didnt even have an instrument cluster,im derffanetly happy with my new find.

Sweet grab. I had to drive all the way to Indy to get mine. After the car, the gas, and the trip to the mall with the woman it set me back close to 3000. LOL For an 1800 body.
