Glass hoods have long had a reputation for being warped or bad gaps. The gaps can be fixed, but the warp you're stuck with.

yeah i would rather not take the chance,theres probably a reason the guy never used it and its so cheaply priced.maybe i can make the z28 hood work im hoping can get one for 50 bucks locally,or maybe i can find a decent scoop for the one i got,was just trying to save myself some work on my hood.

i have the team g intake,7531 bsically like a victor jr.and im running the 750 hp carb.

maybe if i go with a 10x2 air cleaner it will fit under there i really like the looks of the z28 hood.

I don't think a Team G will fit. The 10x2 is a waste of time in my opinion. It will choke that motor. Like trying to breath through a straw.

I'd go with a 14" and a dropped bae, with a 2.5"-3" thick element. I see some people going with those gigantic 6" tall circle track elements, and I think they look rediculous, even if they do breathe better.

yeah val i agree i think they look rediculous,a 3inch is more than plenty with drop base do you think i could fit it under the stock hood

the motor mounts that atach th the engine are from the irocz,are the gonna be the same for my 80 or do i need to change them,or are they all the same.just wondering if i need to order new ones.i went to look at the l-88 hood the guy was selling its a pin on are they any better or are they worse as far as fit goes.
