He built it strictly for the track, but it is street legal too. He's kinda crazy, and has his own shop, so he's constantly building another toy for himself just for fun. He's got an old early 50's cabover tiltbed tow truck with a 455 Buick in it that he built to haul his '48 Anglia gasser with a 400 SBC. Also has 6-7 other various hotrod model A's, T's, steel ****** gasser pickup, etc.
Just seems like he can't stop adding to his stable, and he's about out of space in his pole barn and the business!

Vall, I have got to get out there someday. You guys sound like fun. As for Steve, the "Boostmaster" wagon is a solid 8 second car with full interior and power everything.

Here is his crazy stuff. 3000HP Twin Turbo Ford

Heck, I'm the mild mannered one of my friends! Seems like most of them have all sort of crazy cars, or plans to build something crazier!
That Buick is great! Except for the hood it looks like a sleeper!

yeah i thought that wagon was kind of cool, but that wouldnt give much visibilty for driving on the road, might even be illegal for street use.

There is a pic in HotRod a couple years ago, he was leaning up against the car while at the gas station. It used to have a wild orange a silver paint job.

Used to run a tall snorkel scoop on my Camaro when I was racing it, and it was a pain driving on the street. It caused a huge blind spot that I was always trying to look around to make sure I wasn't going to hit someone.
