So I spent the weekend at drill for the army reserve. I was trying my hardest to get the camaro back together so I could take it, but I did not have time to reconnect and bleed the new rear brake cylinders. I was poking around on craigslist and I think I found a great deal.

''Two of the wheels are 15X8 With L60-15 Mickey Thompson tires on them, few years old but in great shape with 80 percent tread still left. Front two wheels are 15X6 with Mickey Thompson 26x7.50 tires, same deal 80 percent tread. I have all 4 center caps and lugs. All tires hold air, no leaks. Great for GM muscle cars or S-10 trucks.''

Hes asking $325. I offered him $350 if he could meet me half way with them and he said that would be fine. What do you guys think?
Next to the wheel pics, there's a pic of the new and old trans filter.
After that is a shot of the axle with a little paint shot on it.
Edit.. I used the vin decoder over on nasty and found that I have a ''sport coupe''. Was that Chevy's way of saying base model?

I spent the better part of my day at work reading the thread, First of all, thanks for making my day. You have done a fantastic job with this car. I had a 75 in high school. 350 with an M22 4 speed (I blew up the oem 4 speed). I loved that car, got me into a lot of trouble, but it was fast as hell. Great job on yours! And thanks for the memories! (Here's a pic of my 75).

Thanks, I put about 20 miles on the new setup today. The rear tires sound like some muddin' tires on the highway. The front-end seems to wonder around a bit. I'm not sure how to prevent that....
Any ideas?

Working on my rear main leak tonight. I dropped the drive shaft and was not really all the happy to see the universal joint looked like the one that came out of the factory. The trans mount is shot as well. The cross member bolts came lose with out to much fussing. I got a friend that let me use his trans jack, so we will see how well that goes after it cools off a little outside.
