So Nomad.. what is the differance in the heads between the Vortex and the TBI heads other then intake bolts?

I just found out that my exhaust needs to exit out the rear. I've just got it dumped in front of the rear axle. Missouri laws are weird sometimes.

Out the rear? Or does the law just say it has to be out from under the car? Some states let you run them out the side.

Dodge Demons came out the side from the factory, Vettes too. Look into it for sure.

nice camaro keep at it,u can always put a set of vortec heads on it if u want,there abundant and u can find them in almost any junkyard or on craigslist,for cheap.looking good not in too bad of shape for the age.

These are Vortecs, notice how the bolts run straight down instead of at an angle?

They can also be identified by a heart shaped combustion chamber and with have 062 or 906 cast in the center underneath the valve cover.

Ok...
So after a quick google search.... I see you where not kidding.
Is there a way to swap out my current heads for some that are better flowing and a little more dependable with out having to change my intake and headers to something totally different?

The headers are the same. They are the best bang for the buck really. You can find intakes and heads on craigslist easily. Watch for cracking between the intake and exhaust valve.
