thanks guys. ya been a long a$$ time lol, it felt so good to not work on a dodge anymore lol. i wasnt able to work on the camaro cause the darn family vehicle kept breaking down lol. got a newer one now so i can restart the camaro projects. 78 is comming real soon. gonna be a complete frame off resto. back to all original look. prob gonna be a 10 yr thread lol (hope not but i want everything back to original) have the original motor that needs complete rebuilding, not sure what im gonna start with first? the car or the motor? what do you guys think? i build the car and could put a motor in until the other one is built or build the motor to have it ready when the car is done?

I would restore the body first. Personally. I don't like the fact of my brand new motor sitting around for months untill I got body done. Imo

Same here. I'd rather pull the motor and set it aside, then do the car first, and motor last.

Hey Joe, long time huh?

I agree. It tears me up seeing my fully built engine sitting waiting for me to get done with the body. I know I have a bruiser here I just can't prove it.

Ya been a little bit, nice to be back though. Been so busy lately, havent had time for anything. on top of the family, work, house work and fixing everyone elses cars but mine, I started a new band and we have a show comming up on aug 31st. were trying to get tight so we dont suck lol, we only been jamming once a week for the past three months. at least i get a bit of time late at night but man do i get tired, oh well at least i get some time lol. cant wait to start the 78 though, thats all my son talks about lol. i decided that once the car is done i will buy a used running motor to use until the original is rebuilt.

Believe me, I know busy. I was averaging 65 hrs from the first of the year until mid July. I had the womans Jeep sitting there the whole time. I caught a few moments with the Camaro but nothing two days in a row. I'm pulling the engine from my 91 K2500 right now so I can junk the body. I almost want to sent the whole thing but can't bring myself to give away a good running 350 and 4L80E. I got plans for the 4L80.
