If you delete it then you'll need a windshield with the antenna in it.

i know, i been dreaming of the stripes since i was young, i always wanted my cousins car with the lime green stripes but black and its almost there now. I just have to find a place that would do custom colour on the decal set because the colours i want are not to factory spec.

well i decided on the painter because i've known them my whole life, my cousin works at the body shop, his uncle owns it and the redid my car back in 91 also. i seen the work they did and i really liked it and trusted they would do a good job on my car, but sometimes thats not the case maybe a stranger would have been more thoughtful? as for negotiating i just asked if they would paint my car and they said sure, we'll give you a good deal. first they said one price but after it got there the price raised a bit (almost double). But other than the over spray i love it, absolutly love it. show quality paint.

Joe, you might consider a shorty black antenna. It would blend in and still work, without being so noticeable. Not much else you can do now that the car has new paint, that wouldn't need welding and filling the hole. Summit has a 3" antenna that's black.

I like Valls idea. When I was a kid my step moms 86 Camaro had one. The only problem was it was rubberish and had a bend in it from the wind.

I know, is it ever freezing here. the insurance company made us remove the woodstove in the garage so now it takes forever to warm up with the electric heating i got but at least i have shelter though, for the first ten yrs of owning the camaro i was working on it in an alley way on gravel lol had to put ply wood down to move the cherry picker (mainly the reason it never got done till now, well almost done) lol.
