Default 100$ says YOU never got a window out this easy!

So, I decided to finally start tackling the back window. I put the bar that came with the kit under the window to try and start a path to put the wire in. I pulled up on the bar to see and the window lifted up in that part. Ok, I though, let me try the other side. It lifted up also. Next, I though, I wonder if I could just pull it free of the silicon. To my surprise, the entire window came off. It wasn't even glued in LOL

Now I get to spend the time to take off the silicon off of the sill. Now that I have a method developed, I can get it off easily enough.

Send me my $100! When I pulled my trim off the rear window the only thing holding it was the trim! The guys at the glass shop said the early Camaros weren't glued in with butyl adhesive like later ones. They used a rope shaped putty that they were pressed into, and it eventually dried up. Mine is glued in with the good stuff now!

Weird, I posted something a minute ago and it didn't show up.

Anyway, it was just one of those situation where you hope no one else saw you do it. Mainly for fear of having to wear a helmet and not be allowed anything sharp the rest of your life...
