hi everyone just got my first camaro 81 z28 and today i turned it on and none of the gauges work speedometer, tachometer , fuel gauge none of them. what could it be? thanks for the help

 

Speedo won't work unless Camaro is moving.
Gas gauge usually stays at the last indicated position when power was last applied.
Tachometer should work with engine running.


You might have a sticky/maladjusted ignition switch.
Giggle the keys/tumbler and check tach with engine running.

 

check all your fuses.

 

turn signals? high beam indicator? dash lights? speedo is manual, do you have guages or dummy lights?
