Default Heater and A/C control

Got a 1970 Camaro with factory A/C (that has Evap, Compressor, hoses, and controls removed) dash vents for A/C and would like advice on the items below:
1. Are there any supplies that sell A6 compressors, brackets, condensers, evaporator, and hoses. Or is that a salvage yard find?
2. Is it better to go with a Vintage A/C system
3. Interior controls are not functioning freely, Hot/Cold binds, and the face is worn. Does anyone know a supplier with NOS our good used?
4. Is it better to convert to an aluminum radiator and use electric fans? like to hear of anyone's experiences.

Can't speak to your 1-3 questions, but for number 4, I've always heard an aluminum radiator with electric fans is the way to go. People quote numbers of up to 10% of your power is robbed by a flex or clutch fan. Not sure how true that is.

I haven't switched mine over yet, but when the time comes that's in my plans.
