Default Ac/ heater control panel

Hello. I'm doing the dash on my 70 Camaro and I decided to convert it to only heat (no Ac). I got a used heater box and bolted it up. My question is will the original heater/Ac panel work with the the heater box? Or will I have to get the panel made for cars without Ac?

I also have to order all three brand new pieces of the dash. (upper dash pad, lower steering column cover, and the piece holding the glovebox) for the upper dash pad and lower steering Column cover there are options for Ac cars. What are the differences between the two options?

Also I was going to get the automated gauge cluster but i realized that it's missing two holes on the right side of the panel that are there on the factory panel. What are these two holes for on the original car and do I need them?

I appreciate any help I can get! Even if you can only answer one of my questions I would love the feedback!

Do you know if it's the same as the 70-73 lower dash?
