'70-'73 dash assc position

Default '70-'73 dash assc position

What is this area used for? I put a toggle switch in mine for electric fan override. Thanks!

Mine was empty too, but I've had a manual choke cable in that position for 35 years.

Could be because not many (or maybe nobody else here) has that option on theirs either. That space is for a rear window defogger switch.

Hmmm.....I hadn't noticed a lack of replies for most questions, just a lack on some tougher ones. As Camaro 69 mentioned, it's probably an option that very few early 2nd gens had. So I learned something too! Thanks for asking!

Thanks for the info guys. Never knew 2nd gens, 70-73 had a rear defog option.

my 78 has the same dash and its got a rear defog switch there
