Default 2nd Gen Seat Question

So I just bought a '71 RS. The problem I have is that I can hardly fit into it. I'm 6'2" and even with the seat all the way back I hit the dash with my knees, and my head is almost hitting the roof. I'm looking for some ideas that people have done, I'm not sure exactly what seats to install. I know that I need a reclining seat that goes back further than the stock ones do. Any ideas? If you have some pics that would be great.

Sounds like something is wrong with the seats... I am 6'2" and I have fit in all five of my Camaros, from my first, the 70 to my last the 80... keep looking at the seats to see if you are not getting it all the way back.

Now my 4'9" wife can see over the dash or push the clutch all the way to the floor... but not both at the same time...

I don't know how you do it, my seats do go all the way back. I pulled them last night just to make sure. I need another 2 inches and something that reclines so my head does not hit.

if anything else take the seats out.....pull the carpet and drill new holes 2-3 inches back....bolt the seat with the new holes and you should be good! I know a bunch of guys at the local drap strip i race at who have done this just for more comfort....one guy made his seat in the back seat area and straddled the drive shaft tunnel in the middle.
