Default Z 28 Fender Louver Position

I am installing fender louvers on a customer's 79 Camaro. I have been unable to find any measurements to put the louvers in the correct spot.

Does anyone have these measurements?
Bottom edge of louver to body line and distance from rear edge of fender would work great.

Thanks!

Lots of info on that NastyZ28. Hope this helps. FrankC

Wouldn't a pair of Z fenders just be easier?

Considering how much work it takes to remove and reinstall a set of fenders, then the alignment, and shims to get it all trued up, I'd definitely cut in the louvers instead of changing fenders!

Thanks for the input Frank, I got the measurements.

Nomad, I agree with 1971BB427. Even if I could find decent OEM Z fenders the remove, install & fitting are cost prohibitive. I could get repop fenders but the fitment issues would certainly double.

The owner of this car bought it from CA and gave to us for restoration. The body is exceptionally clean with only minor dings. Since the fenders are in good shape we want to cut in the louvers without replacing fenders.
