1. timing is at number 8 on the timing mark,how do i check for chain play.
2.pump is good checked it out,new filter,how do i check the float.

3.has cherry bomb mufflers with turn downs,has no cat,has a few crunches in the pipe but was there before this problem.

4.car has self adjusting,how do i check for vavle floating.

the shakeing and lack of power at higher speeds and rpms was there before i put the tach in,did not know my car didnt rev over 5 grand intell i put the tach in.

What size cam is in the car? Did you tune your car to get the best vacume?

my dad told me a rv cam,not sure of the specs,motor was built like 15 years ago so all i know is what he tells me. what do you mean by best vacum.

I had my timing set to 8 and 10, got a vac tester and followed the directions, car is about 28 deg timing and runs better then ever.

also like said before..could be smaller heads. does it pick up if your secondaries kick in?
