Default Window Motor Replacement

Has anybody replaced a window motor on a 2nd gen Camaro? I need to replace the drivers side motor on my 1981 Z/28. I searched the internet and could not find a "how to" video anywhere. Any tips or advice on this procedure would be appreciated.

I appreciate the link but are these directions for a 2nd gen Camaro or something newer?

oh, sorry about that.

I just looked at my 78, and it looks like you have to drill out the rivets and remove the
entire assembly to get to the motor. I hope that isnt the case cause one of mine is very wore out.

Hopefully, someone else here can verify if the rivets need drilled.

I think you could cut a small access panel to get to the three bolts holding it on.
Have you looked at the part on summit. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/AAZ-42-15/?rtype=10
those three bolts are against the inside of the door. You can feel them with your hand
but I dont think you could ever get a wrench on them.
