What did you do to your camaro today

Changed out the old stereo in mine today, and put in a new one. Cleaned it up to get ready for a Sunday AM cruise if the rains hold off.

We've had an unusually mild winter, and lots of sun, but seems like it rains every weekend. A little today, but supposed to let up tomorrow. The cruise is all pre '64 cars at the local breakfast cafe. It's pretty informal, and runs rain or shine every first Sunday, but with only manual wipers on the Austin I don't drive it in any kind of heavy rain.

I wouldn't go to any run that was formal, lol. Our local cruise in is on Tuesday night at this hamburger joint called Mr Quicks. Everything from a second gen Camaro LT 305 four speed car. To this guy with a 57 Nomad with complete Corvette IRS and even the interior. He said it took 5 attempts at cutting the side glass for the chop top. Cubic dollars for sure.

I drove the Camaro once last year, and nobody ran me off, but I noticed a lot of people checking it out, but only after looking around to make sure their buds didn't catch them!

I brought it home today,to say i'm happy is an understatement,i am estatic haha. There is absoulutely no rust on this car,the rear tail panel is perfect, frame rails, etc. are all flawless. There are some chips in the paint, the seats need recovered, and it needs the front section of the front spoiler, thats it.I cant believe the guy let this car go that cheap.Motor was rebuilt and only has 31,000 miles on the rebuild, the original saginaw tranny was replaced with a rebuilt muncie from a 60's model impala. Here are a few pics after i got it home, today.
