Val, any chance oil ends up in my booster over time? Would I be robbing the brakes of vacuum?

Run your booster to the runner and pcv to the carb base. They do make a set up where the breathers are plumbed into the collecter, using the exhaust for vacuum.

I think I'll try that tomorrow and see how that goes. I wonder if the vac will be less there on the runner than at the rear of the carb. I was looking at those kits on Summit earlier. For under 50 bucks I think that would be the best solution but I have to get the car to the muffler shop to have the bungs welded in.

I have always run mine that way. The exhaust stuff my buddy had on his race car, seemed to work. No mufflers though.

I had my new tires put on my new back wheels today and then I put them on my car with a little pounding to my seatbelt hump. I will need to roll my fenders a little but the tires and wheels fit great and don't stick out of the fender lip this time lol :P

I've run a few that way and didn't see any signs of oil in the booster, but I guess that depends on how much blowby you might have. The breather to the exhaust works well, and actually they say adds a bit of HP to engines that scavenge the oil brether in that way, but you will get a little oil in the exhaust over time that mostly burns up.

Finally got back on the Austin project. Welded up the inner fender lip that bolts to the car. One rear fender appears to have come off a much worse car as it's got the edge rotted away, and is very rough! Just doesn't go with the rest the car's condition. I welded a new 1.5" wide inner edge and redrilled the mounting holes.
Then I radiused the wheelwells and got the front and rear areas that were too tight to the tire clearanced. After that I bent up a 3/16" round rod to weld to the sharp edge and welded it to the whole edge of the fender to form a slight flare, and also stiffen up the edge to hold the shape better.
Now I just need to put some filler on the radiused flare and it will be ready to drop the axle down lower and back to center it in the new wheelwell opening.
