So I just got a new weatherstrip kit for my 77 and it came with a new set of the chrome bead that goes on top of the door... the new one looks nothing like the old one doesnt cover as much area and has like the wrong bend in it... anyone got any idea on why the hell this would be so different? It says its suppose to match the stock one or so i thought it did i ordered a complete soft seal kit from Summit Racing, also how on earth does this even attact to the car?! theres no holes or anything on the strip for it to hook to anything its basically just a chrome strip hooked to some rubber stuff

 

Well the first problem you ordered the **** for summit racing you need to order from classic industries or year one or national parts depot the specialize in camaro parts the people know what they are talking about and if you explain what parts you need they will send you the right suff. I would send that crap back to summit racing and order form those places that i listed I would get prices from each to see witch palace is cheaper. I hope I helped.
