Weather stripping question

This may be a dumb question but I just purchased a Harwood fiberglass hood and I was wondering if I needed to purchase a hood to cowl weather strip. If so, where can I find one that would fit 2nd Gens? I looked everywhere but it seems only steel hoods get weather stripping...
Thanks

I would imagine you should still need it, fiberglass hood or not. I'm not sure if you would need different weather stripping for a fiberglass hood or if it has a different thickess, etc. though, that's something for one of the other guys....

It's up to you really. If you plan on driving the car in the rain, or having it sit outside in the rain, then you may want to install weatherstripping to keep water from flowing down the windshield and into the engine compartment. But if it's a dry weather only car, I wouldn't worry about it. Did you look at the weatherstripping from the steel hood to see if you could make it work by gluing it on the glass hood?

Huh, interesting. Well, it's my daily driver (weekends really) and it does see rain in the winter so I better put one on! With my old hood the weather stripping looks pretty crummy, so I wont be using it. However, I did happen to find a hood to cowl weather strip made by SoftSeal on a random site that I never heard of...it only took me 3+ days looking for one
Thanks for all the help guys!
