Well called the guy on the hood this morning and he sold the hole car after he said he would sell me the hood. Kinda sucks but I understand I guess. So now the seach is back on for a new hood. Heading to the World of Wheels in Indianapolis tonight. They are supposed to have a big swapmeet there. Will see.... Maybe pick up so other things on my list ya never know....

Well went to look for the hood and some other stuff but the swapmeet was a joke. I have been working on the car here and there. Replaced the valve springs and seals, also got the new cam installed and the timing cover back on. I just couldn't help but sit the tunnel ram on there.... This is going to be sweet..... Can't wait to get'er done...lol

Either way your car is what mine would look like if were gonna go stock. I love it. The only real difference is I'll be using Switchblade Silver as the color. Its a heavy metallic that is available on new camaros. That and charcoal stripes.
Got my throttle and kickdown cable today. Also got header gaskets plug wires, braided fuel line and some AN fittings. Got the msd coil and mount. I think I should be getting close to having everything to at least get a good start on it.
This is the cam that I installed. It is just a tick bigger then the one that was in it before. Still kinda wondering what kinda vacuum I am going to get out of this combo.

That cam should make decent vacuum. Lots of lift, but not too long a duration or overlap. The tunnel ram will always reduce your vacuum regardless of cam, but it should still work a brake booster without any issues, unless you were road racing and on the brakes often.
