Default trusted power steering line?

ok, so ive delt with napa, kragen and autozone. all 3 days 80-81 have a different hose bends then the pre 79. the 80-81 has all the wrong bends, the 79 has the exact same bends but wrong ends. they are flare ends instead of o ring ends like the 80-81 require. anyone have a lead on somewhere thats gonna have the right one? thanks

Not sure with the parts stores, but npd, classic industries, etc. should have what your looking for, unless your trying to use different year parts like a 79 pump with 80-81 steering box, etc. if that is the issue then you would probably have to either have a hose made or get adapters.

its the 81 pump, matching o ring ends on the box and pump. the 79 hose is the double flare end like your brake lines.

the ends are right, but the bends are off. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts...item35afb2bb74 thats how the bends look to fit right, just need the different ends.

It's hard to tell from the pics, plus those two hoses are facing different directions. The bends may be shaped more similarly than they appear. Rockauto is a great source for stock replacement parts.

I'm just buying the o ring fittings from aeroquip then using teflon lined braided stainless hose. In the end I'll have 20 bucks into it. The hose is free at work.
