I recently purchased this 1989 IROC; 5spd, 350tpi, cold A/C, previous 1 owner, no prior damage, perfect interior. It needed tires and shocks, but otherwise, I ahevn't spent anymore money on it. Purchase price was $4,000.00. It sat in the guys yard with a for sale sign for almost 3 months before I bought it.
Even a rough early 2nd gen. will bring that kind of money right now.

I like them don't get me wrong. I don't like not being able to run a true duel exhaust. Parts are more expensive. They like to crack right where the roof and the door meet. T tops or not. The rear ends bend way too easy. And my 87 had the worst wheel hop I have ever experianced.

My brother in law told me yesterday that he can't find a buyer for his 3rd gen Z28. He's wanting to get $1300 and it's got a new crate motor from Chevrolet in it, plus a 5 spd, T tops, and new tires. I'm thinking I may have to buy it and pull everything out to use on my other project, then sell what's left for parts.
