Sound like the shape mine is in. It will be pretty much a total rebuild. I paid $500 and didn't get a new Harwood hood!

I'm on the 4 year plan with mine, unless the economy picks up. I plan on doing a lot of work myself to save some money.

Good luck with your project!

I know it would be easier to pay someone to do the work if I had the money, but I'm not sure I'd have the patience to wait while someone else did it! Also not sure I'd enjoy or appreciate the end product if I just wrote a check. I've always tried to do everything I could myself, but I do know my limits, so some things I don't mind paying for if I have to.

I will be trying to get the camaro to my house this weekend. I will be trying to do most of the work my self with the help of some buddies and my dad. That body has always been my favorite camaro. So Its kind of like I finally have my dream car. It will be a long road for the restoration but I do want it all done correctly the first time.

Thats the best way of thinking, better to do it right the first time,so yo don't have to go back and redo something later, plus there won't be the "i wish i would have done that, like this" part that gets alot of people.
