Thoughts on hesitation/idling problem
Thanks for the advice, I am pretty sure I am going to go with another Holley. I just talked to one of the Holley service guys to see if they had any recommendations. The guy I talked to confirmed that their newer carburetors are all built with a zinc composite that it more resistant. He also mentioned their newer aluminum carbs that will also be just that much more resistant.
His recommendation for me was their 670 CFM Four Barrel Carburetor – Aluminum Street Avenger. Holley Performance Products 670 CFM Four Barrel Carburetor - Aluminum*0-83670
Any experience with an aluminum carb? thoughts on this recommendation?

Sure looks pretty, be sure to keep it polished and new!
That 670 is a perfect size for your 355. Summit and JEGS are two more popular places to get car goodies, and they're usually within pennies of each other. With that said, I've always had good experience with Summit: Holley Street Avenger
