stupid questions!!
i have a 79 camaro. not a z28 or an rs. has a 305 with an automatic trans. what kind of trans does it have and will it handle an upgrade to a 350? not quite sure what size rear end it has in it and if that will handle the 350 either. sorry for the stupid question. just kind of new to these things! thanks for ur help.

^^agreed just to add to that you probably have 3:08 gears not 100% sure but i think the stock berlinettas came with the 3:08s they will work fine as long as you are not planning to run the track or peel from every set of lights

im going to build the car to be driven like they are ment to be drivin. lol. just need a good set of gears that will give me a super hard launch off the line but will still be a decent daily driver set up.

4:10 might be a bit low for a daily driver. They will give you great launches, but very tough on the gas budget for a car that's driven much! I'd go with either 3:42 or 3:73 gears personally. 3:42 if you do more highway than city streets, and 3:73 if it's more around town than highways.

your right i was thinking on something that will give him the launches and not thinking good for a daily driver I have 3:73s and plenty of launch but i don't drive far to no how they are on the highway
never thought of the 3:42
