steering collum

Default steering collum

How do i take the steering collum apart on my 1980 z28 camaro? i got the steering wheel off but dont know what to do from here do i need a spiecal wrench?

go to an auto parts store and ask for a steering wheel lock plate remover aka puller

the reason im takeing it apart is because my egnition is shot or something... i turn the key and nothing happens (yes battery is charged i checked) and when i turn the key there is no tention what so ever like something broke and all im turning is the cover.

Anyone know if they sell them anywhere so i can replace it?? or would i have to hit up the junk yard

they sell them at O'reily auto parts thats where i got mine
