starter inline fuse burned

starter inline fuse burned
as the title states, it was too close to the headers, my fault for not checking it, so the inline fuse coming off the starter burned up. but i checked orileys, autozone and advance and noone carry's it. anyone know where to find one in store?

The blue connector is just a crimp connector.. the wire it's self is a fuse... it will melt at too much power going through it... it also sends up a nice smoke signal when it blows too... now you need to re-route those wires or rind a heat wrap to protect them.... for an emergency repair you can replace your old Fused fuseable link with a hunk of regular 14guage wire to get you on the road till you can get the proper link in there.

Im not sure if you ever got one but I know for a fact that advance auto has them if you have one close by it will be a 14 gauge fusible link made by dormans in there help section it will be a brown colored wire part number from dormans is 85620 for chevy they also carry a ford part number 60363 which is also a 14 gauge fusible link the ford one has a plastic sleeve right infront of the loop and the gm one just has the metal loop I think you could use either one.
