I have heard a lot of people rave over the new E3 diamond fire spark plugs. The are about five bucks a plug, so kind of pricey, but on horsepower tv the guys did some tests on them and they increased horse power and fuel economy over the next leading spark plug (they didn't say what kind it was, but it looked like a Bosch platinum with four ground points).
Personaly those are too expensive for me. Recently I installed some NGK V-power plugs. They were only two bucks a piece and I noticed a big improvement in acceleration and response. They aren't platinum coated so I suppose they will only last as long as any standard plug, but the V groove is supposed to improve spark and rate of fuel burn.

my next step is the E3 diamond fire spark plugs, Ive used the bosch plat+4's and loved them on a v6....but never on the carbed v8.
If you are wanting the best, then go with the e3's...if you just want good plugs then get the autolites or AC delcos..but get the platnium ones either way.

Im using Iridium plugs, but they are expensive, suposed to burn fairly hot with MSD ignition, theoretically burns up more of the fuel in the cylinder creating more HP........
