shocks
my car is sagging alot in the back. i know it needs leaf springs. but im savin up for body work right now. its not so bad. but when i go over a speed bump i scrape my exhaust. would shocks help resolve this long enough for me to do body work and than put new springs???

RE: shocks
The shocks will stiffen your ride, but they will not raise your ride height. By making the ride stiffer they may keep the exhaust from hitting pavement. If you are interested, I have the leaf springs and Bilstein shocks from my 72 that I am not using as I am installing air suspension. The leafs are in very good shape, pass. side is almost new and driver side is only slightly older. Bilstien shocks have only about 2000 miles on them. PM me if you want to deal on them.

RE: shocks
You might try coil over rear shocks.
