Default seized hood hinges

good day all i've been lurking here for awhile joined awhile back as well posted about my car which was in storage then it a 74 with 355 but been sitting for 8 years in a garage hauled here to Va in november hoping to get started on teardown soon but the prob is the hood hinges seemed seized i can get it open an inch or so but that's it i'm thinking about trying to get som pb blaster or somthing in there the only problem is i can't seem to get to them! i'm also afraid to pry too much and end up cracking the windsheild .
thanks in advace Dave.

Might try closing and opening the hood the small amount you can, and each time try forcing it as much as it will move without buckling the sheetmetal. Soimetimes a few short movements will free the hinges and eventually get it open enough to reach the pivot points to lube them with a spray nozzle.

if you can get them off, soak them in a rust eliminator/converter. it will eat all the rust and free them right up.

Crawl under the car, reach up near the firewall, and shoot PB Blaster at the hinges.
