Unhappy 77 Z28 Seat

Like 77Nomad, I don't have enough leg/shin room. I'm 6'2" and my shins are touching the bottom portion of the dashboard on a car I'm looking to purchase (77 Z28). The salesman said their shop has moved the seat tracks back on several cars they've sold in the past, and this has corrected the "no leg room" problem.
This is a 5-speed (Tremac) car.

Is anyone aware of moving the tracks back? I know this would require drilling new holes in the floor pan and perhaps fabricating some new supports for the new hole locations.

I think I need to start looking for a pair of those black Fiero seats. I like 'em!

It is pretty easy really. I wouldn't drill ant holes in the car. These just move the seat back on the track. The way its pictured moves it forward but you get the idea.

Thanks. That looks like it might a solution. If the seller accepts my offer I'll give it a try.

They were easy. The plate is 1/4" x 1". The holes are 3" apart, one is 3/8" the other is 5/16". That allowed some play.
