Default Sealing the Heater blower motor to the Firewall

Hello all,
The heater blower motor on my car was making a rackety noise and no air was coming out of the vents. I went thru the removal process of taking the passenger inner fender well out to access the blower motor. Pulled it out and saw the fan was broken. So I got a replacement fan/motor combo and am ready to put it in. My question is what do you guys recommend to seal the motor to the firewall/heater box assy?
Thanks, quarkdude

Plumber's putty from Home Depot/Menard's, rolled into a rope shape.

Thanks Camaro 69. Had not thought of that. A good seal and removable if needed in the future. And cheap to buy as well. Thanks for the tip, Ill have to get some tonight - going to install this evening.
