reusing 305 parts on a crate 350 or 383

they can bend a cowl rise into a stock hood? how much did that cost? well i have a MSD distributor on mine now

Secondly, a 383 does not need a 750, it seems everyone over carburates. Mine is 650 and is perfect, 750 was too hard to clean up everything in the middle. It was nice at idle and wide open, just no where else in between.

A 650 will work but a 750 is hardly over carbing a 383,it's all in proper jetting.
Well that and whatever other mods the engine has beside bigger displacement.
A 750 can move more air and ultimately will outperform the smaller carb on a motor that big,hell lots of 350s run a 750 and perform great.
I wouldn't use one on a garden variety stock 350 but with good heads and the right cam etc it'll be fine.
Shoot,stock DZ302s in some first gen Z28's had a crossram with two 600's.
That's 1200cfm into only 302 cid in a bone stock GM.
