Default Rendering opinions

Hey guys, I have a 74 z28 and saw this rendering of a 75 online and liked some of the styling ideas they used. I dont want to steal this guys whole idea but would like to use some of his ideas, It appears he painted the bottom part of the bumpers to match the car and i really like the hood, any thoughts??

Looks great to me. The hood looks similar to the old L88 Corvette style hood. Just not quite as pointed as they were. Color looks good, and painting part of the bumpers makes them look smaller.

On my 76 I blacked out all of the bumper. I had a l-88 hood like that but I couldn't get the gaps right So I'm sticking with a z hood. I don't know what year it is though.

Ya i agree, i just want an aggressive look but not go to over the top with it or mod it so much that you cant tell its a camaro. i think that rendering hit that look perfect, i would keep my stock color and put the z28 stripes back on it

These cars already have a pretty aggressive look in my opinion. I think a cowl good, loud exhaust, lowered suspension, and some great looking wheels like the ones in the picture pretty much does the job. The paint doesn't matter.

I kinda disagree about paint. Paint can make or break a nice car, and it can also date a car quickly! Put the wrong paint scheme on your car and it might look great to some people, but might turn off a bunch of people. If you plan to keep it forever, then it's no big deal, but 5-10 years later it might be!
I've seen some older Camaros that had popular paint jobs done in geometric designs, and when they came up for sale later it really stood out as a dated paint job, which hurt the resale value. I'd personally try to keep the paint scheme closer to a factory look, than go too wild and hurt the car's value in the future.
The rendering above is a good example; leave the number off and it looks great, but use it and it will hurt the future value.

I definitely agree with that. I guess i was thinking as far as the design aspect of the car goes, they look mean. The way they are shaped, the curves, body lines, the reputation of a "camaro" etc. If your car pulled up next to me at a stop light, but it was pink, i still wouldn't want to race. I would think, this guy painted his car pink so i would have to say i got beat by a pink car. Thats what i meant when i said paint doesnt matter. It can be aggressive looking and ugly at the same time.

yeah i would try to keep paint job as close to stock as possible, anything blue or black will always look tough and mean.
