Default Rear frame rails

Hey guys just wondering if I should be concerned. Today while I was sand blasting my floor I noticed a spot of rust on the bottom of the rail where it goes under the back seat. I picked at it and sandblasted a hole about 1" round. Every where else around that area was sloid.I did remove alot of rust debrise from that hole that indicates some rote. The rails are mint over the wheels where they are famouse for roting out. I found another little spot where I was able to stick a small screwdriver though but the are around that was soild.

This is only the drivers side the passengers side is good. Iam thinking of coating the entire frame with Por 15 .

Should I be concerned or should I go another route.

Please help guys I can't sleep and I have already done so much to this car. 1979 Camaro Z288

Thanks
Angelo

Thanks iam going to try to get some por 15 up inside the rail first and then just patch it up . There are allready bolt holes and predrilled holes in the rail so I don't think It's going to be an issue .

I got under the car again last night and took another look and the rest of the rails are good.

Thanks
Angelo

I would patch it before the por 15...that stuff flames up pretty easily
