hey guys my camaro was running great 3 days ago no problem nothing, then before i went out saturday night i filled up with 93 octane premium,supreme whatever there called. all of a sudden when i went to school this morning it was knocking, really ugly knock. crusing about 30-40 mph, rpms go down then back up, any reasons why? could it be bad gas? i had a similar problem before but it was my ignition wiring and i changed all those and i have boot sleeves on them to protect it from the heat of the headers. if you guys can help it would be great it really frustrates me especially since i finally had it running perfect. thanks.

 

and what yr and model is the car? first guess would be like u, bad gas. but that sounds to simple.

Any time an engine acts up after getting gas, bad gas is the first thing to suspect. Did you get it from a different place from where you usually do?
