I know its a little of topic but that F1 race final was crazy

 

Long time no post !! Computer Crashed.. Got a lap top and could not remember what the name of this site was.. But.. I found it again.

Figure I would give an update on my 2011 1st full season of Drag Racing. Our Track went IHRA and we raced every other weekend. Did not do anything to the car other than change the oil and plugs..
When I got my car, i only got to run half a season.. Never raced before in my life. I won a Wally that year.. This year, my first full seaon.. I won a Iron Man !! I have been pretty lucky if I say so myself. I did pretty good for the year.. I did not race the full season but I got second in the No E Quick Class and I got 7th or 8th in just No E.

My Car ran a new quick time this year at the end. The Temps were nice and cool, and I actually got it down to a 5.88 116 MPH.. 1.26 60ft time.
Was pulling the wheels the highest it has ever pulled them, and I have to say that .. That was the Biggest rush yet !!
I actually went and raced at the Brackt Finals and I choked Bad.. But.. It was something that I will always remember.

I am now in the process of taking the motor out and sending it out to be freshened up. I have no idea hom many passes it has on it so I figure I better be safe than sorry. Its not smoking or running bad just want to be safe.

Good to see you find your way back, and glad the Camaro is doing so well! Don't see a lot of 2nd gens running around here anymore.
