question????????

Default question????????

i have a 1980 camaro 3.8 v6. i have a 350 motor to put in but i dont know if it will be possible. my question is that what do i need to do? the tranny is a 350so i would think that would work but i dont know. can u all help me? will it all bolt up ?

for the most part everything should bolt in, the only thing you might have to change is the motor mounts.

Check the bell housing some of the 3.8's had a BOP (Buick, Olds, Pontiac) bolt pattern. A 350 Chevy will not bolt up, but a 350 Olds will. You may be changing trannies and a driveshaft. Are you sure that trans ain't a 200 metric? the pans look the same and thats usually what went behind the V6's.

damn u were right. bolt pattern is different. u know anyone that wants a 350 engine with 350hp?
