put a carburator on a tbi 305

To answer your original question, yes there are a number of after market intakes that will allow you to put a carb. on a TBI engine. You do need to make sure that the engine has the lobe on the cam to run a manual fuel pump, if not then you can use a electric fuel pump. And also check to see which flywheel/flexplate you will need. If you are runnig a manual trans. make sure the crank is drilled for a pilot bearing.

i have solve the problem. i fit my carburetor on,now just need to make fit the othe component of the engine..I have to buy a new cam shaft..how to make sure I buy one to run a manual fuel pomp and make sure it fit in my engine.and yes I want to run a Muncie 4 speed on it ...what I have to chek on the crank to make it fit?

Look at the end of the crankshaft where the flywheel bolts on......in the center of it make sure that it is drilled large enough to accept a pilot bushing. I do not remember the diam. of the bushing, but a good parts store would be able to tell you. This bushing presses into the crankshaft, or can be CAREFULLY tapped in with a hammer and a small block of wood. This is what the front shaft of your transmission fits into after going through the clutch plate.

summit racing, napa, or other reputable parts source should be able to help you get the right cam, fuel pump and gaskets that you need.
