I think its got something to do with all those hormones raging through their bodies that cause a severe lack of common sense!

Last year I was needing a vehicle that got 30+ mpg and being I'm a Chevy guy I looked at the Cobalt. That in turned looking at the Cobalt SS/SC. Being as the wife has the Camaro SS I though it would be pretty cool. Did a little research on them and what not.

Ended up getting a Monte Carlo that gets 31mpg instead. I didn't want all these punk kids revving their ricers at me all the time. Haven't regretted the decision one bit.

Hey! I have a Cobalt SS/SC and a z28 also. I'm definitely not a ricer, the Cobalt SS is just a fun car.. handles great. It's leased though and the lease will be up very soon. I'm just gonna start driving the z28 everyday.

And Hotrod Mamma.. that sounds kind of questionable. "took my car over to my friends house yesterday to have her hubby check something over with me..needed some smokes" Why did you need smokes so bad when he was done?

Im going to have to disagree with you, seeing how my first car was a Camaro, havnt owned anything other than an F-body, and never rev my engine regardless of what vehicle I'm driving!!!
I digress, it has alot to do with pop culture now, because I remember that Fast and Furious was HUGE when I was in grade school, and yeah, I liked those cars, and like to talk like I knew what I was talking about. Some kids grow out of that naivety, most however, still have F&F as the standard of "cool" driving..... and what teenager doesnt want to be "cool" haha

edit-Im retracting that early statement, I will rev my engine, but only when revved at.
