What up beyotches? Sorry its been so long but this divoce of mine has gotten ugly as hell and the Maro has really fallen to the wayside. I really miss Mike and 350 constantly harassing me, so I figured Id chime in. So, on the divorce......the f'ing Cant Understand Normal Thinking (look at the CAPS....)stole my dog. Yeah, my 10yr old Golden, the dog I raised to sleep between my legs evey night and follow me everywhere, has been dognapped. That was when I gave up all hope and realized the situation was FUBAR. But, Ive regained most of my senses (from the alcohol and ephedrine induced haze) and can once again think about turning wrenches....so, my questions are...
1) Valve seals. Many of you remember that my engine wasburning large amounts of oil from the 1 and 3 cylinder.(assuming that 1 and 3 are driver front....)Seeing how the block is freshly rebuilt but the heads were 'rebuilt a while back and then stored' Im going to replace the seals on the driver side and hope for the best.(using compressed air method) I know how to do this in theory, but are there any special tips you guys can give me? Any words of wisdom or shortcuts on setting valve lash?
2) Heater core. How bad is it. Really. In a cramped garage......
3) Window motor.....any way to test it without pulling the door apart? Phuker stopped working halfway on my LAST ride of the season......

the heater core isnt a TERRIBLE thing to do. but its time consumeing, and in a cramped garage, it could be a bit of a PITA.
depending on your financial status, you might as well have both of the heads worked. If ones doing it, why wouldnt the other? ya know what im sayin? I dont even know of this compressed air thing your talkin about so i couldnt tell you anything about it. Sorry dude.

And they could be right. I have not seen you in the shower

1) Valve seals. Have each piston up so if a valve does go in its not going to drop all the way.
Valve lash short cut. Measure how much of the thread ( or count them) is sticking out of the nut before you take it off
2)Gotta pull the whole dash out.
3)Maybe just your switch is bad. Swap with the passenger switch first.
Be sure to stick around. I need some one to pick on!
And why have we not seen any pics of your damn car yet!?!?!?
No pics of the car. Only have a few of them loaded on my digi camera. Right now the house is a mess. Im busy 'man-ifying' the house, moving stuff around and trying to finance the divorce. Once everything settles down Ill try to post some pics.
