protecto plate

Default protecto plate

I have a restored to stock '68 rs, and have the chance to buy the original protecto plate for this car.My ?is how much will this increase the value of my car?[ the price on the plate is not cheap]. thanks,Mike

I'm not sure about how much more valueable your car is with a protecto plate. But I do know that origional protecto plates came attached to some of the origional paperwork. I'm not sure how it was attached but if you don't have the paper work it did appear on then a protecto plate isn't going to help much at all. Because you will have no way of showing that it is origional with the car.

The plate has all the options that came on the car and has the vin# also. It will make the car worth more as it proves what it is.

there is a lot of info on them, just make sure it is the one for your car, match the vin # to your car
