Default Flywheel Question

Does anyone know if there is a balance weight that's supposed to be on the flywheel?

Last model 350s and all 400s. Don't put a later 350 flywheel on an earlier motor. Vibration was so bad on mine women had orgasims as I drove by.

This is from a 76, but I can't figure out where it mounts.
As far as the other thing, that might not be so bad...no need for flowers/dinner/being nice. lol

A 76 wouldn't need one. The late 80s flywheel I had, the wieght was cast into it.

Default Motor Mounts

So, I misplaced the clamshell motor mounts that bolt to the engine. When I went to get a set at the junkyard, the guy that runs the jy said there are different types for sbc and to be careful as I might get a set that wouldn't fit my application. Anyone have any experience with this?

I think its just truck and car but I could be wrong. I did try to use clam shells from a pickup on my 78. They were on the motor when I pulled it from the truck, so I left them on thinking they would work. Nope, the motor would only drop in on one side at a time.

Default Good or Bad decision???

I got rid of my 77 today. Traded a rusted out shell (literally), no windows, no trim no locks, nothing but the shell and the bumpers for a GAS POWERED IR air compressor in good shape. My wife is mad as hell, but I think I made a pretty good trade. What do yall think?

LOL how many cuts do you have? Gapping rings is the most boring thing to do for me. I always find a chair and sit down before my back starts to hurt. Congrats one step closer, its down hill from here.
