Arrow procharger on camaro

hey guys ive been restoring my 78 for quite sometime now, (paint job, hotckis suspension, exhaust etc.)

now my next task is supercharging it! I have a brand new 350 highout put crate engine from gm ( http://www.jegs.com/i/GM+Performance...10009/10002/-1)

Now my question is how would this engine handle a procharger, would i need any mods on it or can i run about 6 psi on it?

http://procharger.com/chevy.shtml

Im a 18 yr old getting into the game so i need some help from the pros, thanks

With the 9:1 compression, a boost of 5-6 lbs. should be fine. Since it's got cast pistons and a two bolt main I wouldn't go any higher than 6 lbs., or your longevity may be a concern. You should also check your warranty too, as anything other than normal aspiration may void the great GM warranty.
Might want to wait until it's broke in, and warranty period is over to install the supercharger. Regardless, I'd wait until it had a couple thousand miles before installing it.

You should be aware that the addition of a supercharger WILL void your warranty, if it's not a GM approved supercharger. Just did a search on GM's warranty, and it specifically sates the 36 month-100,000 mile warranty is void if it is not approved by GM.

Check item 4 at the bottom of the page:
• Damage caused by a turbocharger, supercharger, nitrous oxide, or similar product, which is not an approved GM Performance Part or Accessory.

You're right in a sweet spot as far as CR for the procharger. I would look into upgrading the heads to larger valves and probably a little larger runner since you're at 170cc's. You're also at a max lift of .475 for your springs so you'd probably want something a little stouter. I've always heard you want some strong spring pressure with a forced induction system. I would also look into getting a camshaft that's more tailored to the procharger's abilities also.
