Pictures of my 77 converted to 70-73
Still a work in progress, but i decided that i didnt like my 77 anymore--so i cut out the rear end and front end and replaced with 70-73 parts--which was not that easy--lol--why u ask? Just to see if i could--i will be putting new mags and all on in due time--but you can see the body

the eldelbrock carb that i just rebuilt with no breather yet and if you look close in the trunk at the side brake light--you can see were i cut the body to remove the rear from midway of the quarters and i had to do alot of cutting and fab work on the front clip to wrap around the 77 radiator housing--all undetectable to the untrained eye--but notice the wrap around back windshield that didnt come out till 75.

I lost track--lol,the front is not that bad--although it did pose some problems with the lower valance. The rear was a differant story as i had to cut the quarters(which were rusted anyway) from the light on back and the whole rear end--i do have alot of money in it,new quarters, rear valance, spoiler ends, lights, front valance-upper and lower,a few braces, front fenders which would of worked but were rusted too-anyway,after all the rear was spot welded into place,i took heavy gauge metal and bent and welded pieces around the back from the inside of the trunk and then blended it in with bondo before spraying the trunk to make it look like it was made that way---it will look good when i get the front black grill and black front spoiler, new wheels ,etc.---but i actually have more money in this than taking an original 70-73 and just restoring it---but after watching monster garage one day--i got the idea and just decided to try it,not original, but one of a kind i quess--
