Default To paint or not to paint

Alright I have been on here for a while now and im finally at the point where i can start buying up some replacement panels for my 74 z28 and get this project started. I have a really good idea of where im going with it but the only thing i keep changing my mind on is to paint the bumpers or not. Ive seen it look good and not so good, it will be its stock color (blue) be happy to hear some opinions

I've seen them look good both ways,i think it just depends on how nice the bumpers look to begin with.Personally i think they look really good with the bumpers tucked tight against the body and then painted to match.

I think they look nice both ways like on the 77z28 models. I personally would get them polished up opposed to painting which is around the same price. That's just me. More shine the better.
