im about ready for paint on a 70 camaro.......just wonderin id anyone had any suggestions...i was thinkin just plain white,but would that be to boring?

Those cars look really great in Bright Red or Black.

 

white hides all kind of flaws.

 

yea i was thinkin about red 2 but the more i look at it the more i see a ding here and a ding there so i was thinkin white might not be 2 bad....but do u think i shoud give it some stripes or somthin 2 break up the white???

 

why not just fill in the dings and block sand it? Its a muscle car it should have a nice paint job,use body filler to fill in any dings and dents,block sand it shoot it with primer,then a different color light mist of primer and wet sand it till you don't see any dings,then time for paint.

 

if you're going to repaint a car, get the bodywork done!!!!

and yes, if you're painting it white give it some class and style with some stripes or something

 

yea i guess im just anxiouse 2 get it runnin and 2 drive it im tryin 2 rush evrything insted of takin my time and makin it nice 2 start with i might still go with white cuz im a lerner and thin is my first car so it probably wont be perfect nomater how hard i try...but ill probably go with some red racin stripes or somthin cuz my favorite color is red so im gona at lest get some red pinstriping or somthin

 

If this is your first tine painting,go to a junk yard and pick up a cheep hood and do a few test runs first. Take your time with the body work,if you can get the primer sprayed on without problems then almost any paint will go on for you. just stay away from pearl and black. Metallic blue is an easy color to do,but if you take some time to practise it should turn out fine. Even white will show a bad paint job.
